Its rounded, shell-like form is conceived to hold onto multiple surfaces. It can rest on a table or attach to a wall or ceiling, emitting a soft ambient light.
The seaweed material and its manufacturing process shape the colour and the quality of the light passing through. Patterns and surface finishes are designed to create a mineral quality from a material more commonly associated with plant-based textures.
Designed by Etienne Thevenet as a collaboration project with Sealevä.
